| How does it differ? | Following a discussion on the Angband newsgroup rec.games.roguelike.angband, there was a fairly lengthy thread on the idea of what could be added to Sillyband, a rather ridiculous version of Angband, with all manner of bizarre features added in. The author was apparently inspired to create this after playing Zangband and being influenced by the sense of humour within. Topi? Rob? See what you guys have spawned!?!? | |
| New to 0.1.0; New worth and depth for Rings of Poison Resistance, Rings of Speed, and stat gain potions. New start equipment for Rangers and Mages. Amulets of Intelligence are now Amulets of Brilliance, affecting both INT and WIS. Amulets of Wisdom are now Amulets of Resistance, now giving the four basic resists. Gnomes get an extra +1 to INT. Flasks of oil are now fire branded. Phial of Galadriel can now be activated once every five turns, and has +1 Searching from Zangband. Wand damage increased. Draebor the Imp now has DROP_GREAT. Two new breath attacks - water and crap. Added Crap Hounds. Two new artifacts - The Dagger 'Immuno' and the Whip of the Balrog. Added the Executioner's Sword 'Slayer' from Zangband. Added clay oil lamps. Added Rods of Augmentation and Rods of Pesicide. Added Tom Morton's fake artifact patch. Added Tim Baker's easy patch. Combined rings of resist fire and cold. Combined sustain rings. Added Ring of Acid and Electricity Resistance. Added scrolls of taxes. Added depth toggle - dungeon level/level in feet. Adeed weapons of Quickness - new ego type. | ||
