Pangband
How does it differ? The P stands for Programmable Angband. The game is based around a script parser that parses Python scripts that define any aspect of the game you care to think of, along with a more enhanced and adaptable set of _info.txt files.
New to 0.1.1; Updated code to 2.8.3 from 2.8.3 beta. f_info.txt now has a new flags line, in which each feature can be assigned flags like PERMANENT, BLOCK_MOVEMENT, BLOCK_SIGHT and a few others - this should allow for the creation of some interesting feature types. A new t_info.txt file is read at startup, which contains info about each class of object - it tells the game which equipment slot the item lives in, it's colour, and a template which defines it's description in messages and inventory listings. Information about the number of attacks each player class is granted is now held in pc_info,txt instead of being hard-coded in xtra2.c. The EASY_KNOW flag has been added to k_info.txt.
