| How does it differ? | This one isn't quite a variant, but it's got it's own name, and that's good enough for me! As you may have guessed, it's based around Terry Pratchett's Discworld, as seen in the numerous books based in this world - and marvellous they are too! I say that it isn't quite a variant, as it is simply a collection of amended edit.txt files for Zangband 2.4.0+. Until the author gets together with someone who's willing to make his dreams a C-based reality, of course! | |
| If you're interested, all you have to do is to download Zangband 2.4.0 (and above) for your own machine, then download the archive below and copy the new files across. If you're installing Discband on a currently installed Zangband, make sure the associated raw files in lib/data are deleted before starting a new game, otherwise the changes won't be taken into account. | ||
