| How does it differ? | Erm... haven't a clue! I don't even know why it's called D11-Angband. The source archive for 1.1.0 simply showed up on the Angband FTP site, so now it's here. I'll try and get more information if I can - all I have is the extract below from the changes.txt file! | |
| New to 1.0.0; Changed some names of spells. Changed races/classes (Drow, Drider/Warrior, Mage, Warrior-Mage, Shamane). Added training of attributes (stats). Added drow special powers. Added Quick spells (spell memorizing) activateable by Shift-1 to Shift-9. Due to the quick spells the old Shift-1 to Shift-9 keys have been put into a menu which is called by pressing Shift-#. Rogue-like keyset has been deactivated. Some changes/adds to monsters and artifacts/ego items. Added a backpack (as one artifact with activation type BACKPACK). Now you are able to store some items of your inventory to this backpack. The standard 2.9.3-savefile is NOT compatible with the current D11-Angband version. All adds/changes in in program source are commented with "D11-Hack: ...". | ||
